Ronald BARR – Over 80

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 13, 2016 at approximately 4:40 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officers were called to a motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 35, Puslinch Township involving a 2010 Ford that left the road and struck a culvert. Police spoke with the male driver and he showed signs of alcohol consumption. A road side screening test was done which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

56-year-old Ronald BARR of Norfolk County has been charged with Care or Control Over 80 Mgs and Care or Control while Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 1, 2016. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
