(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is currently investigating an act of mischief at an Imperial Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, June 1, 2015 at approximately 3:59 p.m., a vehicle was travelling on Orchard Avenue when a rock was thrown at the vehicle.
The object struck the vehicle causing damage to the windshield. The driver was startled and was able to safely stop the motor vehicle without being involved in a collision.
This is a very dangerous act that had the potential to cause a collision and injury to the operator of the vehicle.
A suspect was observed fleeing from the area and running towards the train tracks. The suspect is described as a white male, brown hair wearing blue jeans and a brown coloured jacket.
The OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
