(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 17, 2015 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint about a suspicious vehicle on Side Road 2, Wellington North Township. Police located the 2008 Dodge and investigated the female driver. She was arrested for being impaired by a drug and taken to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
42-year-old Roberta CRAIG of Fergus has been charged with Drive While Impaired by a Drug contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 22, 2015 to answer to the charge.
