(THAMES CENTRE, ON)- On Friday April 18, 2014 at 3:32 a.m. a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a speeding motor vehicle travelling on Hamilton Road just west of Dorchester. A traffic stop was completed and police soon discovered that driver had been drinking. A roadside screening test was administered and the driver registered a “FAILâ€Â. The driver was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the London OPP detachment for further tests. As a result police have charged Robert ZUNIGA age, 31 of Thames Centre, ON with one count of Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood as per Section 253 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to appear in a London court room on May 15, 2014 to speak to the charges.
