(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 14, 2016 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call about a possible impaired driver in a 2012 Ford that had pulled over to the shoulder on Highway 7 near Wellington Road 29, Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Police believed that he was impaired by alcohol and was arrested.
His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
63-year-old Robert MCINNIS of Guelph has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 5, 2016.
