(ST. CLAIR TWP, ON)- On April 20, 2017 at approximately 10:20 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the area of Petrolia Line and Kimball Road, St. Clair Township in relation to the complaint of an erratic driver. A concerned citizen had been following a Honda Civic westbound on Petrolia Line which had been travelling in an erratic manner.
The OPP were successful in locating the Honda Civic and had the opportunity to investigate the driver and his level of sobriety.
As a result of the investigation, Robert MCBEAN, 48 years-of-age of Corunna was arrested and charged for allegedly commit the offences of driving a motor vehicle while his ability was impaired and have more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. He is to appear at the Sarnia Court House on May 29, 2017 in order to answer to the allegations.
