Robert MAINSTONE – Drunk Driving, Vehicle Impounded

(BLUEWATER, ON) A 32 year old male driver has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol following a traffic stop on June 22, 2013. At 12:44 a.m. a black Chrysler entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located on King Street and Elizabeth Street in Hensall. Upon stopping the vehicle the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol and was displaying signs of impairment. He was arrested for impaired driving and was transported to the Huron OPP detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath; both were above the legal limit.

Robert MAINSTONE, 32, from St. Thomas has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle, Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice, Goderich on August 19, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
