(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Friday, June 12, 2015 at approximately 8:33 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2006 Honda Civic on Grey Rd. 7 north of Grey Rd. 13 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands after the officer observed the vehicle weaving within the southbound lane at speeds well below the posted 80 km/hr speed limit.
The driver of the Honda eventually pulled over and, upon exiting the vehicle, used the driver’s door to retain his balance. The driver, who had been drinking alcohol, was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Meaford OPP Detachment for breath tests.
Robert M. LINDSAY, 57, of Caledon, Ontario was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
