Robert IRVING – Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 42 year old male from Dundalk with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. At approximately 8:20 p.m. on October 18, 2013 the driver of a Ford F-150 entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located at Bayfield Road and Telephone Road.

Upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening test was completed which the driver failed. He was arrested and transported to the Huron OPP detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath; both were above the legal limit.

Robert IRVING, 42, from Dundalk has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 2, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
