(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On December 18, 2013 at approximately 7:16 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to assist a vehicle in the ditch on Dorchester Road north of Gladstone Drive in the Municipality of Thames Centre. On arrival, police soon learned the driver had been drinking and was impaired. The driver was arrested and brought to the Middlesex County OPP London Detachment for further testing.
As a result of an investigation, police have charged 57 year old Robert HALL of Thames Centre with care or control of a motor vehicle while impaired and care or control of a motor vehicle with over 80mg under the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The accused was released from custody by way of a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in a London Court January 7, 2014 to speak to the charges.
