(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant Detachment members attended a single vehicle collision on Highway #24 near Ellis Avenue on Friday 05 June 2015 at approximately 10:00 pm.
Police attended the collision scene and investigated the collision. The male driver had minor injuries and received medical attention at the scene from County of Brant Ambulance. As a result of the investigation police arrested the male driver for impaired driving.
Further investigation revealed that 48 year Robert Ford of London was operating his 2006 Honda Pilot while his ability was impaired by alcohol. It was also determined that Mr. Ford was operating his vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood as well.
Ford will appear at a later date in Brantford court to answer to the charges.
