(LEAMINGTON, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington received a call to attend Road 19 and Road 1 in Leamington for a report of a vehicle in the water filled ditch on June 4, 2016 at approximately 3:20 a.m.
Officers arrived on scene where a witness had assisted the male driver out of his vehicle as it filled with water from the surrounding ditch.
The driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
Robert DWYER, age 30 of Leamington has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content. He will appear in a Leamington court on June 30, 2016 to answer to the charges.
