(AWERES TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 14, 2015 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a 911 call regarding a male found in a camping trailer in the 200 block of Highway 17 north.
The owner had returned to their trailer to find a male not known to them inside the trailer. The suspect then fled the trailer with property belonging to the owner. The suspect was apprehended a short time later by police.
As a result of this investigation Robert DAYNARD, 49 years of age, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste. Marie on July 20, 2015.
