Last night, around 8:30 p.m. police received information regarding a possible impaired driving in the Dresden area. An officer located the vehicle and through investigation he believed the driver was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
Robert Cochrane, 32 years, of Furnival Road in Rodney has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He has been released pending a future court date.
