Asphodel/Norwood Township, ON – On August 23, 2014, at approximately 1:26 p.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP had occasion to investigate a driver of a motorcycle on Hwy 7 in the village of Norwood.
An officer observed a Motorcycle driving without licence plates or lights. Police stopped the vehicle to investigate the driver. As a result of the investigation, 44 year old Robert Brown of Norwood was charged with Having Over 80mgs of Alcohol in his Blood and as a result of a search of the drivers back pack, a quantity of Marihuana was seized. An additional charge of Possession of a schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana- under 30 grams was laid.   
Brown was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on October 02 , 2014
