ROBBERY AT MOTEL

(Otonabee South Monaghan Township, ON) – On Monday December 30, at approximately 10:50 p.m., members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a robbery at the Blue Jay Motel on Highway 7 east of the City of Peterborough.

At approximately 10:00 pm on Monday December 30, 2013 a 43 year old male was at the Blue Jay Motel where he met an adult female. After a short time together the female left the victims room at which time two uninvited males attended his room.

The males assaulted him then demanded the victim’s money. After taking his cash, the males left with the female in a motor vehicle, and the victim called 911 to report the robbery.

OPP attended the scene and an investigation was initiated. The victim received minor injuries to his face that did not require medical treatment.

Members of the Peterborough Crime unit and Forensic Identification Unit have been called to assist in the ongoing investigation.

The three suspects are described as:

1) Female, white, shoulder length dirty blond hair, wearing black tights and grey sweater.

2) Male, white, short, round face with short brown hair and clean shaven

3) Male white, tall, beard wearing a baseball hat.
