On January 3, 2013, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a male from Guelph for the robbery at the Husky Gas Bar which occurred on December 8, 2013. The male was charged with robbery, disguise with intent, transportation fraud, and breach of recognizance. He was held for a bail hearing on January 3, 2014.

On December 8, 2013 at approximately 11:10 pm a male robbed the Husky Gas Bar located at 3011 King Street East, Kitchener. The male used a weapon and demanded money from the store employee. The male was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the store. The store employee was not injured during the robbery. The male is described as white, 5’10-6’1, average build, 30-40 years, dirty blond spiky hair. He was wearing a black and red checkered scarf on his face, a black leather jacket, dark jeans with a chain hanging from them, and dark shoes.
