On February 11th, 2014 at approximately 10:45pm, a male entered Mcdonald’s restaurant located on Victoria Street North in Kitchener brandishing an edged weapon and demanding cash. The male left on foot without obtaining money. The area was searched by police and a 27 year old Kitchener male was arrested a short distance away. He was held for a bail hearing charged with Robbery, Wearing a Disguise and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. No injuries were sustained in this incident.
