(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a robbery that occurred at a store on King Street in Woodville.
At approximately 1:15p.m. on January 30, 2015 the OPP was contacted in regards to a robbery in progress. Officers quickly responded to the incident. The Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit attended the location to assist with the investigation, as did a Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO).
The OPP is requesting that anyone who has information related to the robbery or who may have observed an older model Jeep Cherokee in the vicinity of Stuart Street during this time contact Detective Constable Carmichael at 705-324-6741.
