(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), County of Brant Detachment investigated an incident at a Blossom Avenue, County of Brant, Ontario address.
On Monday, July 11, 2016 at approximately 3:07 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen reporting a robbery.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a male and female were picked up at an address in Brantford, Ontario and were supposed to be driven to another address located in the city. While being transported, the driver of the vehicle displayed a weapon and demanded currency and personal property.
Both victims complied with the requests and were dropped off at a Blossom Avenue address where police were immediately contacted.
The suspect is described as a male, darker skinned, early 20’s, approximately 6’0 to 6’2, medium build with short dark brown hair.
The vehicle is described as a white coloured U-Haul truck with orange lettering.
The County of Brant OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
