Road Rager Tosses Victim’s Keys In Ditch

(Amherstview, ON)- The Ontario Provincial Police in Loyalist Township are looking for the public’s assistance in relation to a road rage incident.

On December 26, 2015 between 9:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. a woman driving a dark coloured Chevrolet Equinox SUV westbound on Highway 33 near Jim Snow Drive was involved in a road rage incident with a male driving a light coloured SUV. The light coloured SUV passed the Equinox and then braked heavily coming to a stop. The male driver exited his vehicle and began swearing at the female driver. A female passenger exited the light coloured SUV and the male returned to his vehicle. Both vehicles continued westbound to County Road 4 to Taylor Kidd Boulevard where there was a second incident at County Road 6.

According to the victim, who was alone in her vehicle, the suspect vehicle pulled to the shoulder at County Road 6 and the suspect male confronted her again and physically assaulted her, taking her keys and throwing them into the ditch.

It is believed that there were three people in the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle is described as being a higher end SUV, having a Quebec licence plate and gold writing for the vehicle logo.
