(ARMOUR TWP, ON) – On Monday September 8, 2014 at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers from the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated an assault that was a result of road rage.
The driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck struck a Kia Soul when he attempted to back into a parking spot in an Armour Township parking lot. Both drivers got out of their vehicle however, the driver of the Kia was very angry and pushed the driver of the pickup truck. There were no injuries.
OPP arrested and charged the driver of the Kia, Miles BRUSH, 24 of Port Sydney, Ontario with assault, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused was released from police custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sundridge, Ontario on Thursday, October 30, 2014.
