Road Rage

(SOUTH FRONTENAC TOWNSHIP) – On Saturday 6 June 2015, sometime between the hours of 10:00 P.M and 10:30 P.M a road rage incident occurred on Highway 15 between Burnt Hills Road and Washburn Road north of the City of Kingston.

A male driver of a black Honda Accord stopped his vehicle in the middle of the southbound lane on Highway 15 and stepped out of his vehicle to approach another male driver in a blue Chevy Cavalier that was stopped behind the Accord. This caused traffic behind the vehicles to come to a stop as well. An altercation occurred on Highway 15 between the male drivers of the Accord and Cavalier.

A short time later the driver of the black Honda continued to follow the Cavalier onto Washburn Road and then on Battersea Road where Frontenac OPP Officers stopped both vehicles.

An investigation by police resulted in a 33 year old male driver of the Honda Accord who resides in Kingston, Ontario to be charged with Assault and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The driver was released on a Promise to Appear in Kingston court on the 2nd July 2015.
