Rily Coe WILLIAMS – Drunk Driving

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant detachment has charged a 24-year-old male after checking a vehicle at a Phelps Road, County of Brant, Ontario, address.

On Saturday, December 19, 2015 at approximately 11:29 p.m., police were conducting a R.I.D.E program (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) in the area of Tutela Heights, when a vehicle attracted an officers attention.

The vehicle was subsequently stopped at a Phelps Road address and checked for driver sobriety.

As a result of investigation, police have charged 24-year-old Rily Coe WILLIAMS of Six Nations of the Grand River of First Nations Territory,Ontario with driving over the legal limit.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Brantford at a later date to answer to the charge.

“There will be zero tolerance for motorists driving aggressively, impaired by drugs or alcohol, distracted drivers or those who fail to buckle up. Driving safety is everyone’s responsibility and it starts before the vehicle is put into drive” comments Staff Sergeant Jim Millson, Operations Manager, County of Brant OPP.
