Ricky GOMES – Flight From Police, Drunk Driving

(ESSEX, ON) – On August 19, 2016 at approximately 1:15 a.m. officers from the Essex Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to speak with the driver of a black Landrover on Jackson Street in the Village of Colchester, Essex, Ontario when the driver fled the vehicle on foot.

The officers searched the area, locating the male hiding in a backyard and placed him under arrest.

Ricky GOMES, age 55 of Harrow will appear in a Windsor Court on August 30, 2016 charged with the following offences:

-Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol

-Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol

-Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer
