Richard PERRIER – Drunk Driving

(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male with impaired driving offences as a result of an investigation in Collingwood.

On the 9th of January 2014 at approximatly 8:00pm police received a report, from a witness, of a possible impaired driver in the parking lot of 20 Balsam Street. The witness reported the suspect vehicle hit a parked car in the said lot and was now parked nearby. Police attended the parking lot and located the male driver where it was found that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and tranported to Collingwood detachment for processing.

Charged is 58 year-old Richard PERRIER of Collingwood, he is facing charges of driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in his blood, driving while ability impaired and failing to stop at scene of accident. He is to appear in Collingwood court on the 28th of January 2014.
