(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – A County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on routine patrol on the Cockshutt Road in the County of Brant on December 1, 2014.
At approximately 11:25 p.m. the officer stopped a male driving a white Dodge pickup truck. While the officer was talking to the driver, he could smell the odour of alcohol. The officer gave the driver the Roadside Screening Test, and as a result of the test the male driver was transported to the Brantford City Police Services for Intoxilyzer Tests.
Richard KOPITIN 49 years of age from the County of Brant is facing the following criminal charge
Drive Over 80 mgs of Blood Alcohol Content
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on December 19, 2014 to answer to the charge.
