Rhonda Mae JOHNSON – Drive While Suspended, Refuse To Blow

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On May 22, 2015 at 2:45 pm, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a traffic complainant with a possible impaired driver on Kings Highway 11, proceeding east into Emo, ON.

OPP officers located the suspect vehicle in the Village of Emo and stopped the vehicle. The driver, Rhonda Mae JOHNSON, age 37 years of Rainy River First Nation was arrested and transported to the Fort Frances Detachment for tests. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory 7 days. The driver was subsequently charged with,

-Driving While Ability Impaired

-Refusing to Provide Breath Sample

-Fail to Comply with Conditions

-Drive while under Suspension

She will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on May 25, 2015 for Bail Hearing.
