Residents Bound And Restrained In Home Invasion – Suspects At Large

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a break and enter with violence at an Imperial Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Monday, May 30, 2016 at approximately 3:48 a.m., police responded to the address after unknown males attended and gained entry into an unlocked residence.

Investigation determined that the occupants of the residence were asleep in their beds when they woke to find two (2) unknowns males in the home. The males restrained and bound the occupants of the home and then removed a television set, cell phones and a box of wine along with Canadian currency.

The suspects then fled from the residence in an unknown direction. The occupants of the home were not injured.

The first suspect is described as a male, 5’10, 180lbs, wearing dark coloured clothing and a dark coloured mask.

The second suspect is described as a male, 5’10, 180lbs, wearing beige coloured dress pants and a white coloured mask.

The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
