(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On December 28, 2013 at approximately 10:36 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded along with the Town of Erin Fire and Rescue Services to a residential fire located on Side Road 24 in the Town of Erin.
It is believed that the fire originated from a wood fire place. The homeowners were not in the residence when the fire broke out. The damage to the residence is extensive and the fire is deemed to be suspicious. The Wellington County OPP Crime Unit is assisting investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office with the investigation.
