Hurkett, ON) – Just before 10:30am this morning (05FEb), emergency crews were called to a residence on Highway 582 for a residential fire. Members of the Hurkett and Dorion Fire Departments extinguished the blaze.
Members of the Nipigon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) working in consultation with the Hurkett Fire Chief determined the fire was not suspicious in nature.
Two persons were transported to the Nipigon Hospital for precautionary measures.
