(EAST-ZORRA TAVISTOCK TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 6, 2014 at approximately 5:55 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fire on Tropicana Crescent in Sun Park Hidden Valley on Highway 59 North in East -Zorra Tavistock Township.
Oxford OPP members responded along with the Hickson fire department to assist with the explosion that caused the fire inside the residence.
As a result of the fire, the scene will be held while the OPP along with the Fire Marshall’s office conduct their investigation.
There were three (3) occupants, two men and a woman in the building at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries.
One male was arrested and is being held in custody.
There was no damage to any other buildings.
The total value of the fire has not yet been determined.
The investigation is ongoing and further information will be provided as it becomes available.
