(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Fire Marshal has called in a second Marshal to assist with the investigation surrounding the house fire. At this time nothing indicates the fire to be suspicious in nature. However Elgin County OPP will remain on-scene until the 37 year old Female is located and foul play can be ruled out.

The Elgin County OPP was on patrol around 4:00am on the 401 in Dutton-Dunwich when an officer observed a possible structure fire north of the 401. Dutton-Dunwich Fire Service was called and attended an Edinborough Line address.
Police arrived to a house fire that was engulfed in flame. At this time the Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
The roads will be closed at Willey Rd and Edinborough Line and Cowal Rd and Edinborough line until further notice to accommodate Dutton-Dunwich Fire Service.
