(Goderich, ON) On January 1, 2010 shortly after 6:00 am, Huron OPP officers were called to a residence in Goderich regarding a male party attempting to break in. Upon arrival, officers heard glass breaking and a male yelling. The officers found a male party attempting to gain entry to the residence through a kitchen window that he had broken. At the same time a female was inside the residence trying to prevent him from getting in. The male was immediately arrested. He was also found to be in an extremely intoxicated state.
Jared SYMES (24) of Goderich was arrested for Mischief Under $5000 and Public Intoxication. He was also charged with one count of Breach Probation. He was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
