Resident Calls Police When Weed Is Stolen – Then Decides Not To Follow Through

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Cedar Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Monday, April 17, 2017 at approximately 1:49 p.m., police were contacted by a resident reporting a theft.

Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a quantity of Marihuana was taken from the residence. It was later determined the resident did not have a licence to possess it and no longer wanted to speak to police.
