Repeat Offender Busted In Mount Forest – Name Released

(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) –On July 15, 2015 at approximately 1:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from the Canadian Tire in Mount Forest which had just occurred. Police located and arrested the man involved in the incident nearby with the stolen item. Police also located items stolen from the Home Hardware and TSC stores in Mount Forest.

Officers continued to investigate and learned that he was not following a condition of his recognizance order.

Charged is 49-year-old James WOODS of Palmerston with;

· Theft Under $5000-Criminal Code (C.C.) X 3

· Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000-C.C. X 3

· Fail To Comply with a Recognizance Order-C.C.

He was to appear in Guelph Bail Court on July 16, 2015 to answer the charges.
