On October 28, 2016, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service attended a Chandler Drive residence in Kitchener to arrest a man for outstanding warrants. The man attempted to escape by gaining access to a roof top and fleeing. The man eventually came down from the roof and was taken into custody. A 40-year-old Kitchener man faces several charges including breach probation, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and escaping lawful custody.
