(NORTH PERTH, ON) – On March 23, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), North Perth detachment responded to the report of a theft by a shoplifter at a business in the Municipality of North Perth. While Police attempted to speak with the male suspect, he fled the scene at a high rate of speed in a sedan. Through their investigation, Police determined the male’s identity and a warrant was issued.
With the assistance of Oxford County OPP, the male party was located and arrested.
Mark MOSCHUK, 37-years-old, of Tillsonburg was arrested and charged with;
Theft Under $5000- Shoplifting
Flight from peace officer
2 counts of Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He is scheduled to appear for a Bail Hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on March 29, 2019 to answer the charges.
