Repeat Offender Arrested For Rash Of Break And Enters

(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged a 20-year-old male with a rash of recent break, enter and thefts which occurred in South-West Oxford Township.

The incidents happened between February 26, 2016 and March 2, 2016 and occurred at six different residences on Foldens Line and Culloden Road. Several sheds, garages and a vehicle were entered. The items stolen included; a Yamaha generator, tire rims, and various power tools. The value of the items taken was approximately $5,500.

Through police investigation some of the items were traced to the buy and sell website “Kijiji” and linked back to the suspect.

On March 17, 2016 Oxford OPP arrested Brandan GRUBB, of Ingersoll and he has been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

Break, Enter and Theft – commit indictable offence – 5 counts

Break, Enter and Theft – with intent to commit indictable offence – 2 counts

Fail to Comply with Probation Order – 3 counts

He was held for a bail hearing to answer to the charges.
