Repeat Offender Arrested Again – CAMPBELL

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A South Huron resident will be making a trip to court next month to face shoplifting charges following an investigation by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

On November 21, 2019 Huron OPP received a call from an Exeter business that reported a suspect stole household items totaling nearly $1,200 from the business on consecutive days earlier in the week. Upon reviewing the store video surveillance officers were able to identify the involved suspect. Officers also learned the suspect was failing to abide by a condition of her court release as she was on conditions to not attend that particular business.

Later that day Huron OPP arrested the accused without incident. Sheri Lynn CAMPBELL, 49 years of age from South Huron has been charged with Theft Under $5,000 and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. She has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for December 19, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter.
