(KENORA, ON) On Thursday January 1, 2015 just after 6:00 a.m, Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver in the City of Kenora.
The police located the suspect vehicle on Highway 596 and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol. The female was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, 27 year old Regina SCOTT of Wabaseemoong First Nation has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
She is to appear in Kenora Court on February 5, 2015 to answer to the charges.
