At approximately 6:00am, March 14th, 2015, an unknown suspect entered a Park Street business by smashing the glass on a side door, Once inside, the suspect removed a small amount of cash and fled the scene.

Man Charged with Assault CK15007014
The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a Chatham man following an argument.
At approximately 1:00pm, on March 14th, 2015, Chatham-Kent Police officers responded to a residence on Gray Street regarding an assault. Investigation revealed that a 48-year-old Chatham man, coming to the defense of a mutual friend, was assaulted.
Officers located the accused and he was taken into custody. The 48-year-old Chatham man has been charged with Assault, Uttering Threats and Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose. He was released with a promise to appear with a future court date.
Ride Programs
On March 14th, 2015 the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted ride programs in Chatham and Wallaceburg with a total of 183 vehicles checked with one road side test and no infractions.
Snow Removal
On March 13, 2015 at 2:30pm, an Officer was on patrol in Wallaceburg when he observed a 54 year old King Street resident shovelling snow from his property onto the travelled portion of King Street. The Officer attempted to counsel the male about the legality and danger of this practice but the male was belligerent and not receptive to the caution. As a result, the male was issued a $110 ticket under the Highway Traffic Act for depositing snow on the roadway.
