(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On November 25, 2014, at approximately 11:03 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 7 and Wellington Road 32, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A 2007 Mazda approached the program and then the driver performed a U-turn prior to stopping for officers. Police stopped the vehicle and spoke with the female driver. The investigation revealed that she was not to be driving a motor vehicle and was arrested. The vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
Rebeca MONGE PEREZ age 35 of Kitchener was charged with Driving While Disqualified contrary to the Criminal Code and Drive While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 19, 2014 to answer the charges.
