Due to safety concerns in respect to the construction at the Waste Water Treatment Plant, the Trail System that runs along 3rd Avenue East will be closed from 17th Street East to the north side of the Waste Water Treatment Plant until further notice.
This re-routing of the trail system means users will need to use the shoulders of the road for this stretch of the trail. The re-routing will be well marked for use, and we urge you to use caution while enjoying the CP Rail Trail (Tom Thomson Trail).
