(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On November 27, 2016 at approximately 4:40 pm a driving complaint was received by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) of a vehicle all over the road, on Highway #35 near the Rosedale Bridge in Somerville Township.
After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 53 year old Raymond PRENTICE of Somerville Township was arrested and charged with Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to section 253 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and Driving while ability Impaired by Alcohol contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the CCC.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on December 29, 2016.
