(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Kenora Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Officers (FISU) are currently investigating an assault in the Township of Sioux Narrows.
On Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at approximately 4:20 pm, police received a complaint of a woman in distress. Upon further investigation, police learned there was a physical altercation inside a vehicle between a male and a female, two kilometers north of Sioux Narrows. The female driver of the vehicle sustained life threatening injuries. She was flown to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
As a result of this investigation, 24 year old Raymond BEACHAM of Kenora has been charged with Aggravated Assault. He is to appear in bail court on June 7, 2018.
