Rash Of Property Thefts Continue In Middlesex

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – Property thefts continue to occur in Middlesex County.

On May 18, 2016, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break, enter, and theft. Between approximately 8:00 a.m. on May 9, 2016, and 8:00 on May 16, 2016, culprit(s) attended a rural property on Cuddy Drive, in the Municipality of Adelaide Metcalfe, Ontario. Once on the property, they trespassed, and accessed the interior of a wind turbine. Copper wire was stolen.

On May 25, 2016, the Middlesex County OPP received a report of a theft. Between approximately 08:00 a.m. on May 21, 2016, and 10:00 p.m. on May 22, 2016, culprit(s) attended a residential property on Earlscourt Trail, in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre. Once on the property, they trespassed, and stole an enclosed trailer, containing power tools.

On May 27, 2016, the Middlesex County OPP received a report of a theft. Between approximately 2:30 p.m. on May 4, 2016, and 3:00 p.m. on May 27, 2016, culprit(s) attended a property on King Street, in the Municipality of Thames Centre. Once on the property, they trespassed, damaged a fence, and accessed the interior of a secure compound. Various car parts were stolen.

On May 27, 2016, at approximately 2:55 a.m., the Middlesex County OPP responded to an attempt theft from a vehicle, on Winona Road, in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre. A homeowner interrupted the suspects, who fled on foot. The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, and dark shorts. The second suspect is described as a white female, in her late teens, with her hair in a ponytail. No property was stolen.
