Rash Of Break And Enters Continues In Middlesex

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the following incidents. In the early morning hours of November 30, 2016, culprit(s) attended a residential property on Fourteen Mile Road, in Middlesex Centre, Ontario. Vehicles on the property were entered, and a door to the garage was opened, but no property was removed.

Between approximately 10:30 p.m. on December 3, 2016, and 3:00 a.m. on December 4, 2016, culprit(s) accessed the compound of a commercial retail property on Dundas Street, in Thames Centre, Ontario, and accessed the interior of a building after damaging a lock. Furniture was stolen.

Between approximately 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on December 6, 2016, culprit(s) attended a property on St John’s Drive, in Middlesex Centre, Ontario, and accessed the interior of a residence. Computer equipment and jewelry was stolen. Suspicious male youths were reported in the area. One was wearing a brown leather jacket; the second was wearing a white T-shirt with black sleeves, and a black toque.

Between approximately 5:00 p.m. on December 6, 2016, and 2:00 p.m. on December 7, 2016, culprit(s) attended a property on Cherryhill Road, in Thames Centre, Ontario, after damaging a lock. They then gained access to the interior of an outbuilding after damaging a door lock. An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and sporting equipment was stolen.

Between approximately 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on December 10, 2016, culprit(s) attended a property on Bullock Road, in North Middlesex, Ontario. They accessed the interior of a residence after damaging a door. Canadian currency and heirloom items were stolen. A suspicious gray Chevrolet pickup truck was reported being seen in the area.

Between approximately 12:00 a.m. on December 9, 2016, and 2:20 p.m. on December 11, 2016, culprit(s) attended a property on Clara Street, in Thames Centre, Ontario. They accessed the interior of an outbuilding after damaging a door. Hand tools were stolen.

On December 13, 2016, the Middlesex County OPP received a report of a break and enter incident. Culprit(s) attended a property on Elgin Road, in Thames Centre, Ontario, and accessed the interior of a residence after damaging a door. No items were reported stolen.
