(TOWNSHIP OF THE NORTH SHORE, ON) – On May 20, 2016, Members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on regular patrol duties on Highway 17.
At 2:26 p.m., police observed a vehicle on Highway 17. A traffic stop was initiated. As a result of the investigation the vehicle was found not to be insured.
Randolph David JACOBS, 46 years of age, from Serpent River First Nation, Ontario, was charged with:
Permit Motor Vehicle to be Operated without Insurance, contrary to section 2(1)(b) of the Compulsory Automobile Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on July 6, 2016.
