Radar Speed Sign Vandalized

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – On Thursday September 5 2013, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) learned the speed radar sign that was placed on Wellington County Road 44, Guelph-Eramosa Township had been vandalized. This sign is used throughout Wellington County to capture the speeds of motor vehicles in areas where speed is an issue. The sign had been secured to a sign post and the locking mechanism was damaged. Unknown person(s) pushed the sign down into a ravine. Minimal damage occurred.
